CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS

All credit card transactions are not final until your order has been shipped.  When you pay for your order by a credit card, the transaction amount is authorized by our credit card processor as a pending charge.  This charge is not finalized until your order is shipped.  If for some reason we are unable to process your order, or you wish to cancel it before shipping, the pending charge is removed immediately. 

 

PAYPAL PAYMENT

If for some reason, you are not able to complete your payment by credit card or your transaction is denied, you may email us a copy of your shopping cart (support@huskybicycles.com).  We will review your shopping cart to see if it is possible to process your transaction using Paypal for payment. 

 

WARRANTY

Replacement parts offered in this catalog may not be suitable for other brand of bicycles or tricycles and we do not make any representations or warranties as to fitness of any parts or accessories installed on other brands of bicycles and tricycles. Our customer service representatives are available to answer any questions you may have about our products. Please refer to owner’s manual for warranty information regarding our bicycles and tricycles. All other products (“Parts”) sold herein are guaranteed to be free of defect in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase as evidenced by the invoice on which the product was purchased. The entire liability of Husky Bicycles, L.L.C. and HLF Distributing, Inc. (collectively referred to as HUSKY/HLF”) and your exclusive remedy will be replacement of the product. In the event a replacement is not available, Husky/HLF will issue a refund equal to the purchase price of the product, exclusive of freight charges. HUSKY/HLF will have no responsibility to replace a part that is damaged by accident, abuse, or incorrect installation.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON PARTS BY HUKSKY/HLF, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE , ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO NINETY DAYS (90) FROM DATE OF DELIVERY. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICATION.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL HUSKY/HLF BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PARTS SOLD HEREUNDER.


RETURNS

All returns must be made with prior approval and issuance of a Return Authorization number. All returns must be made freight prepaid. In the event we make an error in processing the order and ship you the wrong item, we will send you a freight prepaid return label and request that you return the item using the return label and the original packing.

You may return any product purchased for any reason within thirty (30) days from date of purchase for a full refund (exclusive of freight charges), provided that (1) the product is returned in its original packing, (2) has never been used or installed for use, and (3) is in sellable condition with no visible damage to the item or packing. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee for returned items that do not meet the above requirements. The amount of charge will be determined based on the condition of the returned item.

ALL PRODUCTS RETURNED MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT CLEARLY SHOWING THE DATE OF PURCHASE AND THE ITEM(S) BEING RETURNED (COPY OF CREDIT CARD STATEMENT IS NOT CONSIDERED A RECEIPT). FAILURE TO SEND THE RECEIPT WILL RESULT IN SUBSTANTIAL DELAY IN PROCESSING YOUR CLAIM.

All warranty returns must follow manufacturer’s warranty policy stated in the product manual or under our Warranty Policy.


SHIPPING POLICY

Most orders are shipped within 24 hours. In the event we are unable to ship your order within 2 business days, we will notify you by email with the expected shipping date.

We do not drop ship. All customers must have their packages shipped to their credit card’s "Bill-To" address. Exception is made for customer with a PO box billing address.

We ship all orders by UPS Ground unless the product is too large for UPS shipping in which case they will be shipped by a truck line Shipping charges calculated through our catalog are estimates. Actual shipping charges may be lower or higher depending on delivery address location. If actual shipping charges are more than 2% higher than the calculated shipping charges, we will request your approval before shipping. If you do not agree with the final shipping charges, we will cancel the order. YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPED.

If you order more than one item, it is likely that the actual freight will be less than the amount on your checkout form. If that occurs, we will charge you the lower freight amount.

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping is offered on the following orders:

1. $150.00+ parts and accessories, except for 26”, 27”, and 700C wheels.
2. $250.00 + parts and accessories, including all sizes of wheels.
3. Free shipping is not offered on bicycles or tricycles.

If your order qualifies for free shipping, we will send you an adjusted invoice by email before shipping.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments: Customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred by us for shipping to an undeliverable address or for refused merchandise.

Information Collection and Use

Husky Bicycles, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on www.HuskyBicycles.com. Husky Bicycles, Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Order
We also request information from our users on our order form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions.

Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Communications from the Site

Special Offers and Updates
We send all new dealers a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established dealers will occasionally receive information on products, services and special deals. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

Customer Service
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.

Sharing

Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Third Party Intermediaries
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just ‘surfing’.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to user information.
